Glasses. Which pair do you wear?[agnostic.com]
I get $150 transition glasses from costco every 5 yrs or so. Don't need bifocals just take them off to read.
What I find funny is that no one saw this as a joke. It came from the "Funny Times" newspaper.
Three pairs of Moscot frames, three pairs of Theo, three pairs of Morgenthal Frederics, two pairs of Tart Optical, three pairs of vintage Bausch & Lomb Ray-Bans, one pair of vintage 1960 American Optical, one pair of vintage British NHS issue. I wear two of the Ray-Bans as my "around the house" glasses and as my "workout-get-sweaty" glasses.
No rose colored glasses for me! I prefer to see things as they are.
For a closer or clearer view, sunglasses, reading glasses and driving glasses are all I need. And a pair of binoculars during whale season.
Have to admit I have 4 pairs of reading glasses, even though I don't have to use them much. I'm lazy and don't want to have to leave my desk, bed, or kitchen, to read the small print, plus I keep one pair in my purse.
Thinking of chaining my many pairs of reading glasses to their stations, since they sometimes escape and seem to walk away on their own.
I keep a pair of driving glasses in my car, but only use them on dark rainy nights.
If it wasn’t for contacts I’d need them all. Men in glasses are sexy though.
How does one qualify for rose color glasses?I believe it requires billions of dollars to join that club.
No, it requires willful simple-mindedness.
@DeStijl Because the wealthy live in another world where they they never see the hardships their policies cause those who do not have their wealth.I had a neighbor who stated there were no hardship cases in our town.He never realized that due to food stamps and rent subsidies that there were over 135 families that could not make ends meet even though they had jobs.
I have two pairs that are all but the final category. Mine could be better labelled 'gray' colored since they're also sunglasses. I didn't used to mind wearing glasses, because I could get along without them if necessary. Not so any longer. It was when I had to buy a magnifying glass to read the labels on pill bottles that I realized that magnification of one kind or another is now a permanent requirement.
