Just another rant, never mind me,...

One of the many things that bother me in the youtube universe,. is that there is a huge platform for people to express their ideas, yet most have no empirical evidence to bolster their claims.

Whether it be, moon landing, global warming deniers, or flat earthers, and the myriad other claims that are brought forth in the "social media" groups.

opinions are one thing., but empiracal evidence is another.

I think the thing that bothers me the most is that some will give the "lives in their basement" conspiracy nut the same weight as someone with a doctorates degree, or a nobel lauriate's view on any given subject.

I just find it odd at the udacity of some think that their views have more merit.

One of the pinacle views of science it to question everything. But as been stated by some,. It's a good thing to keep an opened mind, but not so much as to have your brains fall out. Point taken.
