I am just starting a history class and in the forward of the book the author says the following about eras,
"This text will occasionally also have special sections on selected subjects or appropriate summaries of certain eras. Terminology with reference to dates will be the traditional "B.C." referring to either years or centuries before the birth of Christ, and "A.D." for a specific year after Christ. The latter abbreviation, of course, is for Anno Domini, meaning "in the year of our Lord""
and
""C.E.", indicating the "Christian Era"".
That is not true. C.E. means 'Common Era'. I hope the rest of the book is not biased.
I would withdraw from such a course demand a refund and never buy such a fake history rag that is pure fictional back dated calendar lies....Muslim & Hebrew calendars have more samples of facts than xian propaganda only 700 years in the printing
Why when you said you fucking loved history you weren't kidding! LOL
No I was not
@AnnaMD I do too. That was my minor in college as I had to major in political science for grad school. Otherwise it would have been my major. Isn't it sad how the History Channel has turned into Ice Truckers and Swamp People?
