I saw that this category was on health and happiness... Well I'm not happy my windows kept steaming up in my truck and I just found out I have a pinhole in my radiator core and I have to get it fixed so that my truck is ready for when my business fires up in the spring and it's going to be $1,000 but on the other hand I Googled replacing it and I said oh hell no even my mechanic says he's hoping for two days but it's probably going to take him three so it's money well spent but winters like the worst possible time monetarily for it to happen and the best time time wise for it to happen so I guess it's a wash in the end meanwhile I just keep pouring water in the damn thing and I quit turn on my heater fortunately El Nino is being very kind in the Pacific Northwest so it's not that big of a deal

Heater core is a monster, depending on the vehicle not a fun task. A few months ago I replaced the water pump in my Honda Accord. If I didn't have to spend hundreds of dollars on top quality tools I would have saved about seven hundred dollars doing it myself. Not fun.
