When I hang around a lot of married people, or even more so, when I talk to each of them separately, I find my years of living single to be not all that bad.

There's a lot to be said for being single. Like everything, there's the opportunity cost but I think it's worth it! I'm sure it's a good thing lots of young people don't think the way I do.

Absolutely! After a long and happy marriage, unless I could find another as compatible as my husband why would I put myself through all that torture? I have never ruled another partner out, but neither have I actively looked for one.
