My little fella (all 6ft 3 of him) goes back to university tonight after being so ill. I know its my job to kick him out of the nest, be tough and happy he's recovered and making his way in the world. Can someone explain to me why it feels like my heart is being torn out? #cryingmyheartout
It's called love. Plain and simple, your biology causes you to imagine terrible things happening, just in case they do. And when it doesn't, anything left is good. Same with my lad, he frustrates the hell out of me - last week he actually managed to take the back door keys for the house to uni, 200 KMS AWAY ! But when a call comes in and he rushes out to a fire or a crash......I just want him back under my feet, playing loud music and farting again.
awwwww
It’s so hard for us Moms to think we can’t be everywhere. You’re a wonderful mom. There’s always going to be a little bit a doubt/fear in our brains no matter how much we think we’ve prepared them and ourselves.
Everybody has to grow up and move on,just the next chapter of his life,(and yours).
