Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.I’ve long held that Occam’s Razor — all things being equal, the simplest explanation tends to be true — can be used to disprove a lot of so-called miracles and magic. The world seems to be surprisingly free of ‘woo’ when seen soberly.

I agree except with possibly the "surprisingly". When looked at rationally, & with any understanding of the scientific method, there really is no surprise at the lack of "woo". Are there still things in the universe that will puzzle & possibly confound us. Assuredly! But that is because of our inherent limitations, not the Universe's!

Actually, I really did, sort of. I had a "widow maker" heart attack a number of years back, & was "Code Blue" going into the hospital. Was just lucky that the Fire Station & Hospital were both within a mile of my place that I arrived there so quickly. So, here I am, & I'm fairly sure I'm alive!
