That will help, but we will never have great schools until we have principals and superintendents who are real instructional leaders who are highly knowledgeable about teaching and learning and focus on it at all times.

Maybe if we took just a fraction of our military budget & invested in education we eventually wouldnt need such a bloated military budget. More schools & better pay to keep quality teachers would only enrich our society. Any society.

It's sad that sports figures get paid millions and the people that teach our kids make peanuts.

Funny (not funny haw haw) that we never have enough money to pay for things such as education (or health care, crumbling infrastructure, etc.) but for some strange reason we have more than enough money to pay for an extremely expensive wall...
