Well said! Judging one another shuts out the possibility of intimacy. I've been practicing setting judgement aside with those close to me and it's led to better interactions and understanding. Everyone is the flawed hero of their own story and when you accept the flaws you can see the whole person .
Conversation that is completely open, honest, and about feelings, thoughts, fears, and love.

A strong emotional connection. I'm intimate with some male and female friends where there's never been physical attraction.
Unfortunately for me to maintain physical attraction or even emotional connection, I need intellectual stimulation and that's been the downfall of a few romantic relationships. It sucks to be nerdy, especially if you're also a bit rednecky.
