Well. There ya go. 4 Men in were arrested on Cannabis charges even after legalization...Now instead of selling illegal drugs, the charge is illegally dispensing cannabis..aka bootlegging...hooray...the fricken things is BS once again and in Ontario all the tax money goes to the feds and the prov...none to the municipalities who are now responsible for keeping control...People. The little guy never-ever wins...the few at the top of the feudal ladder take all and the rest of us..well...
Like everything else, its about the cash.....
There is so much BS in California about that too. If you work for a national employer, say a UPS, they can drug screen you and if you are positive for weed, they can deny you employment, yet what you are doing is totally legal. The fed gov is so fucked up when dealing with this, I hope it changes. Also, you smoke on Sat night, on Monday your employer can do a random drug screen and can you.
If we legalized everywhere the governments could actually make money vs. spend money to jail people
We have the same thing on Alcohol and Tobacco in this country.
The cost of 20 cigarettes is about £12 ($16) £11.44 ($14.91) of that is taxes.
They will do the same with Wakky Bakky if it is ever legalised here.
I quit smoking but when I did smoke I'd run down to the Native American Reservation smoke shop where most of the taxes did not apply.
In my state of Missouri some counties go after those selling cannabis legally and the charge is that it cannot have TCP in it. The cost of the product is outrageous and so is this stupid prosecution idea. Leave 'em alone!
I think you may mean THC,
TCP is a best selling brand of antiseptic.
@LenHazell53 Hummmm. Looks like you guys caught me. I do learn something every day.
@DenoPenno You are right of course, since it was legalized last year my wife has use Cannabidiol (CBD oil) on her eczema in lotion form and the result are wonderful, after 50 years of suffering she is almost completely cured.
However the stuff is not yet available on the NHS and costs a small fortune to buy privately.
