Has anyone ever done this or wanted to do this (go up in and fly a jet fighter)?
Received from Fly Fighter Jet.
Thanks for contacting us and for the interest in the California-based fighter flights. Attached you can find detailed information about the US fighter operations.
The availability in our location near Los Angeles is very good, we won't have problems finding a flight date for you. The flights are done by a former military test pilot. We always get great feedback, customers like him very much. He's not only very professional and experienced, but also a nice guy.
Absolutely no interest in doing that.
Not for everyone.
No interest in jet fighters. Get me up there in a Spad ...
Are you talking about a Skyraider or a French WWI bi-wing?
@rogueflyer The French bipe! Since I was young, I’ve been hooked on that era in aviation.
@The-Krzyz Yes, I owned a '49 Ercoupe a while ago. The canopy would roll down for wind in your hair and bugs in your teeth (just a saying).
@rogueflyer Sounds very cool! I love the immediacy of contact with the elements. I read Richard Bach’s “Biplane” as a kid, and think he describes that experience wonderfully!
I would do that before I would sky dive.
Absolutely. Can't see stepping out of an airplane unless it's coming apart.
Flying a fighter jet would be a dream!
Heck yeah... want to that is, but never had a chance to.
Now you do. There's a unit in Florida. I'll be in LA in a couple of months. Think I'll book a flight unless someone talks me out of it or my wife threatens divorce.
@rogueflyer Hmmmm... divorce - jet flight... divorce - jet flight... ? Sorry honey... ?
