According to this chart, they are following the wrong religion

@Nuke the chart is very funny but it is only funny when it hits a kernel of truth. it misfires on that one. hummus is really, really popular in israel. meanwhile, there is nothing prohibiting hummus in judaism. so it's not true from either approach. it's just silly (but not funny silly). the underwear thing for mormons, yeah, because that's actually part of their religion. the hummus thing for jews is just dumb because it's just out of left field. it's like... huh? where'd THAT come from?

@genessa , I think it just comes from the fact the hummus is an Arabic word. I think the reason you think it is silly is because you know too much about Israel. I do not think most people know that about Jews. I was there in the military back in the 80's and I didn't know that but I may not be the sharpest tool in the shed. I guess maybe this was categorized as "Silly and Random" for a reason.
