Integrity initiative is a think tank created to counter fake news, especially from Russia, apparently. It got hacked by anonymous which revealed a more propaganda type role (see link)
What I find really interesting is it was formed in 2015 and all the Russia paranoia started late 2016. Formed after Obama's "red line" was crossed and Putin defused the situation by removing all remaining Chemical weapons from Syria.
I find the timeline quite suspicious.
