My dad and I talked about his alkaline water this weekend. His defense for using this product came down to the fact that anyone can find data to support any conclusion, so you can't base your decisions on data.
He's Christian, so he and I have gone toe to toe on religious issues, and it was good to see his faith applied in another area so that we can talk about it dispassionately.
I'm going to think about his response for a couple weeks.
