So many people say that being an atheist is like being in a religion so they feel okay believing in fairy tales about a talking snake or women have to cover there faces and always be slaves to men. They say because scientist and math can't answer all our questions that we also believe in faith like them. I was told that if I didn't believe in god that I would never get sober here I am with a full time job and never craving a drink while others I've kept in touch with after rehab who attended AA and told me I had to find god are already right back at it. Being an atheist is believing in physical evidence discovered through science, math and medicine. Being religious is acting like an asshole and using your god as an excuse for acting like an asshole
