"Does it take the children to make you understand?" - Donkey Jaw lyric by America 1971. This child understands the global warming crisis better than anyone over 40. (IMO)

It is great that young people are waking up the the major problems they will inherit. The problem I see is that they don't have the distracting responsibilities adults have (earning a wage, raising a family, dealing with health issues and so on). There are also lots of children that have been hypnotized by religion and push their brand. Yes, we have the knowledge but we don't have the politics and the time + too many people are dealing with surviving the present effects never-mind what happens tomorrow. I pity the young people of today and think the proof we haven't a clue is the number of people passing on the future misery by having more kids. It seem instincts always beats knowledge and reason.
its going to be their world and they will blame us (rightfully so)
And we need to blame our previous generation and on and on. These kids are sitting on a pedestal with a very big base.
@JackPedigo can't go back in time so we can only act now and act we must
@bookofmoron We can and do act. It's the others that are the problem.
