@LeighShelton There always hope. That's part of the problem. We're sold on ideas that there's a solution in developments like GMOs and artificial meats that grow in a lab rather than graze and fart their way through ten time as much food as they produce. And there can be no doubt that science like this has already slowed the onset of this crisis and may continue to do so. But to look at another side of the problem we turn to an economist. It was JM Keynes who explained why people are happy to take action they know to be disastrous in the long run "In the long run we are all dead"
