For all, who enjoy dark sense of humour and danse macabre motif in art? One of my favorite Polish artists - Kajetan Obarski, known as kiszkiloszki [instagram.com]

Your art reminds me of Mexican magical realism in movies:

Magical realism, magic realism, or marvelous realism is a style of fiction that paints a realistic view of the modern world while also adding magical elements. It is sometimes called fabulism, in reference to the conventions of fables, myths, and allegory.

@Agnieszka Its an intetesting time indeed

@Agnieszka its both disconcerting and exciting

Is this an actual painting?

There is no humour in the work of Alfred Kubin, only madness and despair; but based on that painting you might appreciate his pictures [en.wikipedia.org]

@Agnieszka I thought you probably would. I, on the other hand, don't know Beksiński, so I'll be doing some research. Thanks for the tip! 🙂

@Agnieszka Safe to assume he was a fan of Kubin too, I think! (And Giger - lots of parallels there.)
