I don’t understand what you mean when you say you don’t understand the point of the site. It is so elementary that explanation seems superfluous, but..... you post and reply to other’s posts, and you join groups and interact with others, you can also message other members and form friendships. The points are incidental to all of this, but as a reward for participating. When you reach level 8 you recieve a rather nice Agnostics T-shirt and pen as a reward, not that a reward is really needed as the participation brings its own.
