So my new phone doesn't like to swear when I type and it's super annoying. My old phone would learn words but this one refuses and instead changes it to ducking and shut. I tried voice to text tonight and this is the result ??? my favorite is "you asked whole!"
Still annoying though, hope they fix it in an update.
Looked it up. It seems pretty complicated. Luckily I myself don't hardly ever use swear words. I copy and pasted directions below.
How do you allow swear words on Android?
How to do this:
Go to settings.
Select “Language and Input”
Select “Personal Dictionary”
Select “+”
Select the Phrase field.
Add the specific profane word you want to use in that field.
Select “Next” on your keyboard.
Select “Done” on your keyboard.
Unfortunately, there is no personal dictionary option on my phone ?
@Remi Well, you can always use the list of "swear words" from the Netflix TV show "The Good Place". Here's a link for that. [thegoodplace.fandom.com]
"The Good Place" was pretty funny for the first season, then in the second season it totally lost any direction. Still, they did provide a fun list of substitute swear words.
I can use all sorts of swear words, fuck, damn, shit. You might be able to turn auto-correct off.
That would be really funny if it wasn't so ducking annoying! ?
Make a post in my Computer and Electronics group. Someone should be able to help, but we need a little more info.
