Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.The frigging chimney sweep scene? omg...this sort of crap deflects from real issues like violent crimes and police brutality...prison reform, unfair sentencing, etc. etc. It demeans and waters down the important stuff...I don't think anyone who watched the movies even thought about this until some idiot chooses to put it out there...sheesh...I only own black pets...my dog and my cats...what will people think of that? How about I love animals and they happen to have black fur when I rescued them...sheesh

I don't put down things that were a "sign O' the times". Things that were normal and no one minded because it wasn't an issue. It appears to be an issue in today's divided society.
@IAJO163 I think there is a fine line...so many things in the past really were racist, sexist, etc. We have evolved so should our language, our movies, our songs, etc. We can still enjoy things in the past while looking at them with fresh eyes...I would never minimize the concerns or hurt feelings of people but I have no patience for people constantly trying to divide or make us "see" with hateful eyes...
@thinktwice Many things were bad but we can't change the past, we can only change the future. Trying to make people pay for crimes done when what they did was normalized and trending is wrong. Will we ever be able to move on that way?
@IAJO163 exactly...sometimes I wish we could draw a line at a certain date and say nothing counts before that date...let's move on forward!
