my cat golde just died. i held her in my arms and then i had to get up as nature called, and so i don't know the exact moment she went, but she's gone. i knew she would die today, didn't even think she would live until this hour, but it hurts like hell anyway. i am heartbroken.

Oh, I am so very sorry for your loss. My dad says that the worst thing about cats is that they don’t live as long as people. It’s so hard to lose them. Take care of yourself while you heal.

sorry.
we had to take 2 cats to the vet to be released from incurable suffering. they went to sleep peacefully but i couldn't stay to watch them take their last breaths.
the last was 8 yrs ago & i'll never stop missing them.
this could be the year we get another.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Loosing our little loved ones is a very difficult things. In our later years they become so very dear to us.

Ah. So sorry. Losing a pet is very hard. Please know many people here care. Take care of yourself. Mourn however you need to do so.

Oh my goodness a yellow tabby female! That’s very unusual!
@A2Jennifer she was unusual in many ways, from her ducklike quack to her musical purr, all up and down the scale, to the fact that she would groom my hair and make a much straighter part than i ever managed!
