@ng15bloke Wethersoons in Scotland use it. I don't know about in England. Funnily enough I some with my brunch today. I got it from my local (best in Scotland 2018) butcher.

Never seen it. Hard to find around here.

For some reason an image of an old "Compo" ration comes to mind, labeled along the lines:
"Pudding, Black, Breakfast for the making of."

Found it in Kirkby in Ashfield 59p a tin, will let you know how it tastes later,,,
