It was pretty much a rain event down here. We had a few inches of slush in Hagerstown. I refrained from traveling into Pennsylvania tomorrow. Tomorrow I'm supposed to go to Scranton. Any bets?

Seems to mostly rain here in Lancaster. I have no choice but to take the dog out occasionally, so we both get wet. Last time the road didn’t seem to be freezing yet. Maybe after dark.

I live about 120 miles northwest of you and drove to work in that crap this morning. In about three-and-a-half hours, I'll drive the 28 miles home. It took me 52 minutes this morning before it rained and froze.

I like how they call it a 'snow event' around here. Makes it sound like a cause for celebration...ha ha. And now they name the storms. It's Winter Storm Maya. Gotta love this new weather forecast marketing. I work at UPS in the office so our drivers have another day of battling with the elements. We have a layer of ice covered with a layer of snow...very slippery conditions. I got home at 11:30 this a.m. and I'm not driving anywhere. (Until tomorrow morning, that is!) I also have a kitty but she stays inside year round.

Sounds like a day in front of the fire with a good book to me.
