Trying my hand at incubating quail eggs this is my first attempt with the process. I had watched several YouTube videos of all seems pretty standard watch your temps and humidity. I welcome any tips. They are Japanese quail btw.

Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.Like you said, watch your temps and humidity. Also do not forget to turn. This is very important, so the chick doesn’t stick to the inside of the shell.
Candle in a few days. Look for a cloudy bit of red. The longer they grow, the bigger and more defined they will become. Get a box and flashlight. Cut a small hole in box, then put flashlight under it. Put egg on top. Works best in a dark room.

Good luck. I raised birds for a while, but always left the parents incubate. Temp, humidity, turning I've read, and seen, but never done. Good luck. You've feed little ones before, I presume.

I have, I have ordered chicks before. Going to put the brooder box inside the coop this time with a sturdy lid it should be safe. I have also ordered these Svart Hona Chicken Eggs from a different company they have not arrived as of yet.
