Trump now demands $8 billion, not $5.7 billion, also admitting that there is no national emergency. "I didn't need to do this" were Trump's exact words.
Now it's up to Americans and the US Congress as the US Constitutional Crisis heats up.
By the way, it's not 5.7 billion dollars anymore; he's now demanding $8 billion. Follow the money!

Now he's said he will lose his case in all the courts except, maybe, the Supreme Court.
But even with the stacked Supreme Court, I'm not sure I either A) see them taking the case, or B) ruling in his favor.
And if he wins before SCOTUS, then he might also believe that they will support his right to pardon his son(s) and even himself? With Trump, there's always a game within a game. LOL
@josephr Maybe I am naive, but I don't see SCOTUS doing any of those things. I think at least Roberts is aware of the consequences to the court and the country of being so blatantly and dishonestly partisan. But I am also aware I could be wrong.
@greyeyed123 i'm sure your feelings are shared by millions. I guess that's why so many Americans are so stressed by this administration and the war they're waging against each other. No one knows what to expect.
His saying that he didn't need to do this (declare an emergency) is probably the best evidence that there is no emergency. He's likely to get his ass burned in court by his own words. What a doofus.
There's so much such evidence out of his own smarmy mouth, yet he's still President. I don't get it.
