It says on each person's profile if they're interested in meeting people and what kind of people they are interested in. If you fit that criteria why not. I personally would have a few conversations first maybe follow them, then send them a message like are you interested in chatting. Everyone seems pretty mature here so just be respectful and what do you have to lose besides being rejected and hating yourself for trying lol I'm kidding.

What you do, see, is you search all her posts and comments and then leave your own comment on all her posts and comments, and she's bound to take note, and be awestruck by your intellect. The rest, as they say, is the hard part.
