Those in power, no not us, politicians certainly don't want a well-educated electorate. That would foul up the scheme they have perpetuated for centuries. PLEASE NOTE: I didn't say Republicans, Democrats, or Independents for a reason. All the f$#kers are in on the screwing of the U.S. populace.
