Health insurance for all is not socialist rather it is the government taking care of it's citizens which has nothing to do with socialism. The government is acting as a customer setting the specifications for a product health insurance for the insurance companies to provide. Although communism and socialism have been used interchangeably the former has a dictator running the show. Democratic Socialism Like that of Sweden and Denmark has democratically elected government which it believes produces a fair distribution of income without impairing economic growth.
