So the time changes for us in most of the U.S, again.
I don't think I can put into words this biannual assault on my body clock.
Just pick a system and stick with it.
I don't care which one.
I agree. I read a meme once that said, "Only the white man can take a blanket, cut some of the length off, sew it back on the other end and say the blanket is now longer."
I hate it more and more the older I get.
Changing the time is totally useless. Living in a 24 hour world like we do now, it doesn't make any difference if sunrise or sunset is an hour one way or another.
Yeah. This was for farmers.
It is not going to be daylight at 7am again after that until early May.
For me, it’s one of few man made rituals I accept. That, ‘wow, this is what it’s been like an hour earlier’ feeling I’d get walking to school after the Spring forward. Or that, ‘this is creepy, what if it continued to get darker earlier’ feeling I’d get on the Fall back…
Was told there’s a portion of my (new) state that’s not going to change … hope I’m not in it
A little girl got hit and killed by a car near me last year, because the darkest morning of the year, is actually next Monday and it will be deadly dark for awhile because some fools want it to be daylight at 9pm.
Glad it's a joke for you though.
@BufftonBeotch I seem to have missed your description of a child’s death in your intro … only the concern for your ‘body clock.’ If your actual concern is for the safety of children, you should have said so.
@Varn You don't get to coach me. I did not cede that right to you.
@BufftonBeotch Thanks for the reminder Occasionally I forget, on a ‘dating site,’ there’s often good reason some are alone..
@Varn What do you mean by that?
@Varn Are you alone? I'm not alone when I don't want to be.
I'm here for the Free Thought.
This is why so many countries are considering going Universal Time Zone It is even a option on most computers these days
I'd do it, but I'd either be an hour early or an hour late.
