"Volunteering, Charity Work, and Community Service" Group

"Good without God" is more than a catchy slogan, and I know many of us here are active in our communities to be present for those who need a helping hand or an empathetic ear.

For that reason, I started a group [agnostic.com] for us to share our experiences about how we donate our time and share our talents helping others who may be struggling in various ways, to exchange information about specific service organizations, and to provide support to those who might be feeling burnout. I'm hoping it's a good place for us to share what's important to us regarding community action and where we can learn more about specific organizations or types of volunteer work (whether through official charities or more independently).
