Do you still recognize the concept of faith for yourself despite not believing in a higher power?
Nope.
I have reasonable expectations in some circumstances.
But faith? No.
I do as a romantic notion. The idea of having "faith" in humanity appeals to me even though there's a shit to of evidence against this being reasonable. I mean what is trust? There seems to be little empirical evidence for it in most instances only temporal evidence i.e. Their behavior thus far has led me to trust them. Isn't that a form of faith? We bandy the word trust around as freely as the word faith. Having "faith" is one thing but peddling faith is another matter.
faith
noun
strong belief in God or in the doctrines of a religion, based on spiritual apprehension rather than proof.
I think It would be impossible to live without faith in the first sense of its meaning, and while I see people who claim faith in the 2nd sense of the definitioin, I am not one of them.
No.
Faith is the very concept required to believe religion that causes most of the harm. Once your belief is untethered from the evidence, what cannot be believed?
