"I am a born-again atheist, so there isn't going to be a funeral. I will be buried in a linen wrap in a cardboard coffin in my forest with an oak tree planted on my head."

-Felix Dennis

This sounds like a nice idea. Had I not already decided my corpse's fate I might consider this. šŸ™‚ I'm going for cremation and ashes sprinkled near a place dear to my heart.

You can just throw my body in the dumpster when Iā€™m finished with it.

I love that !! I want be a tree as well

Not me. I want a huge Church funeral. We will see who gets the last laugh.

I'm donating my body to science - probably a medical school cadaver. Why not help educate future doctors, plus save the family spending thousands of dollars on some stupid burial ritual? My girls can throw a memorial party if they want - but no need to pay an undertaker a shit load of cash for shipping and handling on a rotting corps.

Come on Jon. You were in the Marine Corps, you should know that is not the way you spell corpse!??

I'm hoping to finally have the smoking hot body that has eluded me in life! The scattered in Sabastion Inlet on an out-going tide. Any money left goes to the party!

Organ harvest, then the rest goes to the University of Manchester medical school.

Cremation here, too. Then have my ashes spread out over Crooked Lake, a place I enjoyed for many years...
ā€œReturning to earthā€ in a normal, recyclable way, sound just Right...

I've already made arrangements to donate my body but I'm all for the wrapped in a shroud and. Put directly into the ground route too. My son has all my paperwork so we're set.

Whatever is easiest for my loved ones. Cremation or donate my body to science, whatever works for them. I don't want them belabored with an expensive funeral on my behalf. Or on the behalf of my dead body, anyway.

Cremation for me. It was my husband's wish as well and I have his ashes with me.

A lot of states have regulations of how and where you bury a corpse. If you want something Felix Dennis you might want to check your stateā€™s laws

I'm not asking šŸ™‚ my mother's ashes are to be buried on top of my grandmother in a cemetary where a lot of family has been placed. I will not ask. I will simply do it. I have already worked out how to do it without notice and it is her final wish. If I asked and they told me no, I would do it anyway. It is her final wish.

Natural burial is available in Ohio I've been looking into it like Neil deGrasse Tyson says why have it go up in smoke when you can give back to the planet that gave you life ?

Sounds worth looking into. Thanks, @oldFloyd.

Cool way to go. Since I love water and scuba diving I'm thinking a burial at sea, perhaps a viking funeral while "In memory of Elizabeth Reed" is being played (the acoustic ver.)

Will your body to medical research and/or science. You might just end up being more beneficial to humanity after death than while you were alive.

I'm a born again atheist. When I became atheist it was like the scales fell off my eyes and I could see for the first time. I lost all fear of hell and when I die I'm gonna save money by being all burned up!

4

I'll be sent up in fireworks.

that is a GREAT idea!

3

Donate all that is possible, burn the remains, if someone cares, keep the ashes or do anything that you want, I don't care XD

2

Throw me in the back yard and let the raven peck out my eyes

@Allamanda darn
