Are those hills cinder cones? Kind of looks like they may be.

fair question in New Mexico but in this case they are not

@btroje It's a fair question in the Pacific Northwest too. About half the hills around Portland (OR) are/were Cinder Cones. (Rocky Butte, Powell Butte, Mr Tabor, etc...)
