So, as I rattle around here in the bowels of this beast during half time of the various first 4 playoff games, a thought came to me in a rather reverse (female) bukaki-esque fashion...
I looked at the following and something occurred to me -
Which term(s) do you identify with?
While no definition is perfect, here are some:
Agnostic - sees no evidence for God(s)
Atheist - has no belief in any God(s)
Anti-theist - actively opposes religion and belief in God(s)
Humanist - rejects supernaturalism and focuses on human activities
Secularist - advocates separation of the state from religious institutions
Skeptic - questions religious authority and beliefs
Freethinker - believes truth comes from logic, reason, and empiricism, rather than religion
Spiritual - believes in a supernatural entity
Believer - believes that specific God(s) exists
Religious - believes that specific God(s) require worship
It occurred to me that hedonist should also be included in that list. What do you think?
But then, after all, I am not one to shy away from a HARD decision.
Please consider taking my "poll" (especially ladies you ladies)
Shameless lascivious allusions here and there in this post with apologies ...
As The Blackeyed Peas say "It's the Dawg in me baby..."
Atheist--doesn't believe in God, which means he believes in not believing.
Agnostic--doesn't know
@Elganned I don't believe, or not believe. I'm not an atheist, because I don't claim there is no God, just not a supernatural ENTITY with consciousness. Nut, I'm tired of debating it, and I don't believe it matters what any of us think. If there is an afterlife and/or reincarnation, there certainly is no hell it heaven. You'll be "rewarded" by progressing in your spiritual journey or be "punished" by regressing. No God. Or, you'll simply cease to exist. Or maybe there is some sort of "god.". Who knows? But no matter the case, no need to worry, or be frightened, by the future. Does a squirrel worry? Is a bear frightened? Does a stalk of corn spend a lot of time thinking about it? No. And neither do I.
