Absolutely! Hiking is my passion. I feel grounded and centered high in the mountains.

"I can see the joy on your face," Rich said about hiking together.

  1. Sunset set cliffs afire, first gold, then red. Necklace Valley, WA.

  2. Pacific Crest Trail above Stevens Pass, WA.

  3. Lake Colchuck, WA, age 56.

  4. Olympic National Park, WA, age 26.

  5. Above Squilchuck State Park, WA. Age 64.

Great pics! You have a zest for life that's so refreshing.

After working in an office for most of my adult life, I don't know what I would do now if I could not emerse myself in the magnificent beauty that is the great outdoors. Nothing is as uplifting. ( I moved to Colorado to maximize my exposure to nature in my retirement).

I'm looking forward to seeing Colorado one day.

beautiful place - where is that?

This is my neighborhood in Springville. It's just up the road. So beautiful and calming.

@ElusiveMoby I see now why you want to keep your cabin

@ShadowAmicus Yokohl Valley is the name of the place. I moved here because of these views.

@ElusiveMoby Maybe one day we could take a drive together to see the sequoias
