Brian Cox Lecture in 5 parts.
I indulge myself every so often by re-watching this series. Not only is Brian Cox a briliant lecturer but he talks on one of the subjects I studied in college. And just like the first time, there just is no place here where you have to insert a god to understand.
He isn't a lecturer, he's a professor! He grew up about 8 miles from me in Oldham.
He is also cute as a button. And what is that dialect. I am not so familiar with britsh dialects
@Spinliesel He's from Lancashire...North West. He is my age too.
@OwlInASack Does nothing for me. looks off into the distance
@OwlInASack He sounds like a make version of me!
@OwlInASack Exactly! Sounds ideal
@Amisja A full professor can be a bad or brilliant lecturer. (At giving a lecture)
@Stephanie99 Professor isn't the same in UK than USA.
@Amisja I know. I am personally aquainted with lecturers and professors form the UK. Both professors and lecturers give lectures, no?
@OwlInASack Rings off - does that mean she'll take her rings off before meeting him?
I had to think long and hard about that expression.
@Stephanie99 Not often. Most concentrate on research and supervision. Its a title rather than a job
@Spinliesel Don't confuse him with Brian Cox, the film actor from Dundee who is nae so bonny
@Amisja [en.wikipedia.org]
"A permanent lecturer in UK universities usually holds an open-ended position that covers teaching, research, and administrative responsibilities."
@Moravian, @Stephanie99 I know, I am one
I've enjoyed his programs on British TV. I love his youthful enthusiasm and his ability to articulate difficult concepts.
He is so alt-right! Beware.
He is a British professor in a british university, not an American politician.
@Spinliesel i do understand that sarcasm is an acquired taste.
@Jacar and a fine art!
He is notoriously left wing
@Amisja, @Spinliesel The lack of observable facial expressions causes confusion.
@Jacar And here is me thinking you were one ( mojoies )
@Spinliesel ... given that i have not clue what "mojoies" implies, i will take it as some sort of insult or revelation of your misconception. or else not. so thanks.

@Amisja I was being dung-in-cheek about how all the SJW PC respond to whomever is actually real. I will use mojoies more.
@Spinliesel Yeah... I will always blame it upon the Australian Chardonnay.
