There is a religious retreat on the Platte River in Nebraska that is advertising bread they make and sell at local groceries to support the restoration of the retreat. I've head their commercial on the radio several times and kept hearing Oysters on the Platte. I kept thinking ewwww, who wants Platte River Oysters.

Today I finally heard it right. Cloister on the Platte.

Should I get hearing checked?

Sounds like another business using his name (God) in a vain to make a profit.

Start worrying when you ring up or walk in and order a plate of oysters with lemon and they look at you strangely. Of late I'm finding that I'm misreading prices on the supermarket shelf. I'm now sure that it is deliberate misrepresentation as most people will not check their checkout receipt or display for prices.
And yes my spectacle lenses were updated about 3 months ago.

At least it wasn't Cloisters on the halfshell.

No, don't get your hearing checked; you might hear something you don't want to hear.

Lol. Idk about your actual hearing competence, but your mind could have purposely Mia-transcribed what it heard. Lol
