Unless they are made of hemp givers, I would think they'd be very uncomfortalbe. No matter what htey are made of you cn bet they leave "panty lines".
When underwear went "designer" and the price shot up three or four times, I opted to go commando instead. When almost all clothing was made of rough wool, I could understand the need for undergarments, but today's fabrics are comfortable enough that you don't really need them.

The original purpose of underwear was to avoid having to wash one's expensive outer wear very often.
