I wrote a long heartfelt email to my ex's solicitor explaining why I cannot attend court and provided my counter offer.
She said they never got the first email (they did I had proof)
She tried bullying me into taking a shite offer...failed.
I explained how much I had struggled lately, how down I had been and how I wanted this to end.
She sent the whole lot to my children! My kids. I feel sick. Surely this isn't right? I even asked for confidentiality. Its made things much much worse. Especially with my daughter. I am a fairly tough cookie which is good because I don't know what I'd do otherwise.

Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.You should never have contact with opposing counsel. I know it is cold but her job is to zealously represent your husband. That means she will do anything and everything that is not illegal to prevail. Can't you get some type of legal aid? We have free family law Counseling in the states.

We are your friends here. You can tell us anything.. Is it too late to get a barrister? I mean if you had the money? Let me know how much you need in dollars and we will crowd fund you.
In the states, you could file a complaint with the legal bar association.

No she couldn't. I mean she could, but she has no basis for any remedy. The attorney is just doing their job.
