"Harry Potter books burned by Polish priests alarmed by magic"...I don't know should I laugh or cry... [bbc.com]
In reading the comments I realized that I started to watch the teletubbies because the purple one was gay. I could not figure out why they did not go after Dipsy as he could have been an alcoholic. I really liked Nunu.
I have mixed concerns. If they are bought then the author is paid, this is good. If they are read then burned, they were paid for, so good. If they are stolen then burned, this is bad and the thief should have to pay for them. As long as the author is paid all is good, as long as they are not going from the publisher to the burn pile.
They secretly burned them because Dumbledoor is gay.
@Agnieszka Good thing I was there to give you CPR! I know the tongue was not necessary.
Seriously Dumbledoor is gay. JK Rawling said so.
@Agnieszka It's sad isn't it? Same way in the US. Move North!
@Agnieszka No. Lots of people are racist, homophobes, etc. Sometimes they won't say a thing to someone's face. Once they are out of earshot "that fucking faggot...". Just look at trump. His is making our hate worse!
Welcome to the club.
I most of evangelical churches in Brazil, the adults are told to destroy things that arr from the devil according to the leaders. From time to time they do it on youtube or in open cults.
Some years ago someone claim that a mattress factory was using cemetery dirt to dedicate the products to devil and told people to open the mattress and take it out...
This cemetery dirt was silica gel, common material to avoid humidity...
You can see a lot of people on youtube opening the mattress and showing the cemetery dirt.
Sad that people cannot use their own brains to work out things for themselves.
In Brazil some sexual position are being regulated as well for religious leaders. For example blowjob is allowed with only restriction, is forbiden cum inside mouth's wife.
pastors and bishop say on TV; if the woman swallows the semen even accidentally, she will go to hell.
@Williamcristiano Don't know where have you read this. There will always be extremists, but thats religion bulshit, far away from real regulation.
They’d be better burning their bibles.....I’m sure the irony is completely lost on them!
