Why can’t God have limitations and shortcomings as well ?

Even for believers, an honest assessment of God would have to lead to the conclusion he, she, it is pretty incompetent.

I guess in our tradition we need someone who is better than us.

In some traditions, they were happy with gods who were just more powerful than us.
