It has been said that to look the other way and remain silent when someone is perpetuating actions that are obviously wrong, distasteful, or inherently immoral is to condone that action. It is to share the guilt of that action as though you perpetuated it yourself.

Therefore, as we look at the actions of our president, we ask, "Do those persons throughout the country who so ardently support Trump, do they too share his guilt?"

The president is a coward. He used his money and influence to get out of service by paying a doctor to claim he had bone spurs. By association does that not make his supporters guilty of supporting cowardice in the face of national travails?

Our president is a mysogynist, probably learned (opinion) in the bordellos owned by his father in NYC? Does this by association make his supporters guilty of perpetuating mysogyny and disrespect for women?

Our president is a racist and a white nationalist, therefore does that not also make his supporters guilty of supporting and condoning racism?

Our president is petty and arrogant, believing that there are two types of people in the world. The rich and those who serve the rich. The later, a lower caste of people that deserve what they get by not being born into richness. Therefore, does this not make his supporters guilty of agreeing with Trump and accepting their role as an inferior caste of person, born to serve the oligarchs of this land?

This president is a congenital liar. Therefore, does this not indicate that his supporters are okay with lying, suggesting they are themselves disseblers and liars, if not directly, then by acquiescence.

Our president is a traitor, choosing the Russian oligarchs and Putin over the American people. Therefore, are not his followers guilty of treason by their support and acquiescence?

Our president is a userer, cheating small, honest companies in their business dealings. Small businesses that operate on a limited budget and depend upon every penny that comes in at the end of each day. Therefore, does this not implicate his followers as guilty by association of supporting cheating, lying, and underhanded business practices.

Our president is guilty of openly disparaging facts, knowledge, and experience. He denies the collective experience by those whose has made it their lives in providing knowledge and insight into the most important issues plaguing the world today, from intelligence to science. Therefore, does this not implicate by association his supporters of pushing ignorance and reactionism over knowledge?

The president makes no bones about his disdain of reading (easy to see when he talks) and learning. His father bought his way through Wharton, his degree was not earned. Therefore, does it not implicate his followers as teaching their children it's okay to be intellectually lazy, buy your way through life and not earn it honestly?

Our president uses his so called religious beliefs as a way to manipulate his followers when it serves his purpose. He holds no convictions beyond his self-centered interests. Therefore, does this not implicate his supporters as believers that manipulation, shallowness of conviction, and selfishness is acceptable in not only a leader, but in themselves?

To look the other way is to share the burden of guilt. Yes, it can be said that liberals have been guilty of the same thing in their support of their candidates (conservatives will immediately bring up the Clintons - so don't bother I did it for you). Yes they do share in their guilt by asdociation as well. However, at no time in recent memory has so many distasteful, immoral, and repugnant behaviors come together i the form of one person.
