Spring is here! No matter what happens with the weather, there are robins taking a bath in the big puddle across the street and my porch has the smell of male cats looking for love. Why can't these tomcats remember that all my cats are spayed? I guess, hope springs eternal. The willows have that golden glow of new leaves and catkins, and the maples are ready to pop open with blooms.
I am by Lake Ontario in New York, Zone 5a. I know where my spades are, rakes and cutters are ready. Bring it on!
The other day, I sucked the first robin of spring through the air intake on my Pontiac...
Natural selection. Now the rest of the robins will fly faster, and avoid Pontiacs.
Don't be surprised to find load of bird poop on your car!!!
Reminds me of the guy who took his huge gas guzzler to the garage as it was overheating. The mechanic sorted it by removing the minis from the radiator grill.
