Having given problems with the English language a millisecond of thought, one of the most baffling encounters for those learning English as a foreign language must surely be the five different pronunciations of ough Tough, cough, bough, through, though...'uff','off','ow','oo',and 'oh'. Hm, and no, I do not dwell upon such things (in case you were wondering! )
Neat. I like it. Have you a graphic to help those who, apparently, fail to distinguish the difference between 'have' and 'of' as in "I could of tripped over that." I see this often here in Britain where "could have" shortened to "could've" gets written as 'could of'.
Perhaps you could think one up !
Still bungle these from time to time ....and should know better. Usually catch it when rereading some late night rambling the next day....oh well.
I understand the reason for the post to some they can't understand three different spellings for the same sound. So my question is what if you want to make a left when you get there?
Nice visual. My suspicion is that people who already know the grammatical rule will really appreciate this visual aide; the others will pass.+
