We can't control the whole, only that part which we ourselves comprise, which, when we know how vast the universe is, constitutes not even a blip; therefore, we must not overestimate our importance to the grand scheme or even to the human scheme.

I don't see that they're unbalanced. Everything is made up of little bits of something that equals the whole.
