Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.I actually do have a land line. I have cable phone with Cox Cable in Cleveland, as well as a smart phone. I've thought a little bit about getting rid of my land line because of all the robocalls I get.

Yes. I have older friends who have a land line phone and a smart phone.

I don't have a land line, but I have an internet landline. I use a Magic Jack which plugs into the power of the wall and a network cable connects to the router, which allows it to work separate from the PC. I then plug a regular phone into the Magic Jack box connected at the power outlet, via regular phone cable. I use an app on my phone to access messages or get them via emails. I use it as a back up for my cell phone. I spent about 128 dollars for 5 years of service.

Yes, both. My LL service forwards unanswered calls to my cellphone, where messages are saved in email form.
