Yeah, well as a kid you still thought you could marry your dog. I thought making it to the 21st century would be great and everything would be special. Disillusionment is a big part of life.

We don't have flying cars but the Internet and streaming media pretty much rocks.
True story.
In sixth grade we had a speech assignment about predicting something in the future and I pretty much nailed GPS and today's cars that have crash avoidance and auto park etc.
Teacher failed me as it was "too much nonsense."
meh, teacher hated me because she was dating the father a girl I had never got along with.
