Maybe it's time to change our perspective of the job market. Jobs are design to make people running in huts .. make enough to pay their living expenses ..and consume goods .. get stressed about their lives.. which they won't be able change because they're stuck thinking how to get out of their problems that were caused by their jobs, stressful life, the goods they paid for...etc
Jobs were useful when life was simpler... mega corporates now don't care to hire quality they became systems just systems similar to governments.. governments are systems, there is no logic to reason with or negotiate, just a system composed of employees who do their jobs .. which was designed for the roles they take in the matrix ..
when companies were small their owners had visions but when they grew to occupy a high financial status they handed their businesses over to very capable hands yet these executives are incapable of having the vision.. they only inherited ready made system that need so much less of them than the original founders .. that's why they became machines with no soul .. people who make decisions to hire in these systems they only fulfill job requirements unless they're the ones who own the business or the projects they're hiring for and/or truly have broad visions to spot the type of quality they're looking to hire, they'll only follow cleche and criteria projected to them by a small spot light on a screen.
The truth is.. we people the power that fuels the engine without which these systems fail.
What if we stop searching for approval by people who might or might not have the power to keep or fire us.. if we collectively realized that we are no different from those visionary people and that we can follow the same foot steps instead of stressing over do i have a job tomorrow or do i get a raise ...
Many of the hiring managers lack the vision and job hunters are at their mercy.
So instead of settling for jobs i suggest create your own vision and instead of being seeker be the one sought after .. stick to your grounds don't compromise your passion to be just a device plugged in a system.
Life is big.. live it to the best you can and embrace all the challenges it brings you .. every experience you face adds to the making of you .. be creative and create your own legacy!
Well that's it. You convinced me to watch Office Space again and go back to my side projects.
