In my thirties l still looked like a young 20 year old. At site meetings for major contracts this worked to my advantage, because I was frequently underestimated by the contractors - until their attempts to pull the wool over my eyes turned sour! I also remember an occasion when I remarked to an architect that I didn't think the factories inspector would approve of something he had designed. "These things can be arranged." He replied.
"I don't think he'll be amenable." Said I.
"You think so? Who is the factories inspector for here." Said he.
"Me." Said I.
Guess what? The architect altered his designs that very day!
Overestimate me.That'll be funny.
